The Prancer Pull-On Jeans pattern is for stretch jeans made with woven fabric with a bit of stretch added for comfort. These on-trend jeans have all the style lines and topstitching of traditional jeans, but with a pull-on waistband for ease of wear. The mid-rise height of the waistband sits at the belly button and has 1/4″ (6mm) elastic at the top of the curved waistband to help keep everything in place.
There are two leg options: view A is a skinny jeans leg, while view B is a stovepipe straight leg.
The front pockets extend across the front to create a pocket stay, helping to keep the pocket linings in place even with little hands reaching in and out. That means there’s no need to adjust your child’s pockets throughout the day, which is a big win in the smaller sizes.
The back patch pockets are a great place to feature a fun design to make your child’s jeans truly unique.

Bonus: the waistband for the Prancer Pull-On Jeans is fully compatible with the Bacca Bootcuts Jeans PDF pattern, which means that the regular waistband of Bacca can be swapped with the pull-on waistband of Prancer and vice versa. With the combined patterns there are three leg styles (skinny leg, stovepipe leg, and bootcut leg) and two waistbands (traditional zip-up and no closure pull-up), which really extends the the use of these great fitting jeans!
