Project Night & Day Verdant Windbreaker

Fiesta Fun Tour – a Pattern MashUp for Easter

It’s the first day of the Fiesta Fun Blog Tour and I’m super excited to share a new pattern mashUp with you!  I’ve been thinking about this Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress mashUp for awhile now and this fun fabric seemed like a perfect match to what I had in mind – BONUS: Bean says she want this to be her Easter Dress!

Fiesta Fun Tour Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress Pattern MashUp

The Fiesta Fun Collection by Dana Willard for Art Gallery Fabrics is so festive!  I chose the Pinata Confetti print and matched it with solids in Pistachio Cream and Raspberry Rose.  The other prints in the collection are just as bright and have such a summery feel it was hard to pick just one!

Fiesta Fun Tour Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress Pattern MashUp The confetti is a super fun print so I wanted to give a spanish flare to the Raglan Party dress to make it a little different than the one I made Bean earlier this winter for a Daddy/Daughter dance.  The puffed sleeves of the Paneled Sunsuit Sleeve Add-On with the peek-a-boo flash of color in the center front and back pleats of the Raglan Party Dress were just right to get the look I was going for in this pattern mashUp.

Fiesta Fun Tour Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress Pattern MashUp I shortened the sleeves a bit and added elastic to make them even more gathered and puffy looking which was a big hit with Bean.

Fiesta Fun Tour Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress Pattern MashUp This mashUp is super easy, so if you’d like to recreate the look yourself I’ll be posting it as the first Monthly MashUp redux post next week.  Stay tuned for all the details!

Fiesta Fun Tour Paneled Sunsuit/Raglan Party Dress Pattern MashUp I can’t get enough of this confetti print and want to grab some more for summer dresses!  To see more of the amazing prints in this collection click the tour links below.

This print is one of my favorites in the line! I’m so glad you used it. And woo hoo for a double whammy blog tour/ Easter dress! Winning!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a dress done so early before Easter haha. She was thrilled!

I really like how you used the pop of pink on the peekaboo front of the skirt! That confetti print is so fun and you used it so well!
