Project Night & Day Verdant Windbreaker

Abby’s Watercolor Dress plus Project Run & Play’s Spring 2020 Patterns

Project Run Play’s shop has released their Spring 2020 patterns and there are so many to choose from.  It’s been awhile since they’ve had a release so there are a whopping 20 new patterns!  I recently sewed an Abby’s Watercolor Dress and the result is this stunning dress for my baby.

Abby's Watercolor Dress Abby’s Watercolor Dress is a pattern by The Wolf & the Tree and available now in the Project Run & Play shop.  Sizing is from 12 months to 14 years and Kitty’s dress is sized 12 months.  She’s a bit petite for all of her 15 months, so the size 12 months is just right.

Abby's Watercolor Dress The high-low hemline is perfect for this new walker so she doesn’t trip over all of those gorgeous ruffles.  But the real show-stopper are those sleeves!

Abby's Watercolor Dress So dreamy, right??  When I think of Abby’s Watercolor Dress, I immediately think of those sleeves.  The original dress that Saskia from The Wolf & the Tree based it off of, was her dress from week 1 of Season 21 in the Home Sweet Home theme.  Shockingly, the original didn’t have those sleeves!

Abby's Watercolor Dress You guys…. those chunky thighs peeking out from under the high-low hemline…

Abby's Watercolor Dress Sorry, I was distracted.  Anyway, this dress is designed for knits and comes together pretty easily.  The front and back are the same except for the skirt.  And really, if you didn’t want the high-low hem you could use the back hemline for the front and it’d truly be the same.  There are options for sleeveless and color blocked in case you aren’t as obsessed with those sleeves like I am.

Abby's Watercolor Dress The fabrics I used have been in my stash for awhile and I’ve used those pandas for a few things for Bean in the past.  They are a print from Raspberry Creek Fabrics AGES ago, and the solid is Orchid from The Wolf & Rabbit.

Abby's Watercolor Dress Abby’s Watercolor Dress and ALL 20 of the newly released patterns are 20% off in the Project Run & Play shop through February 29th, so head over quickly to check them out!!  And I’m giving away a pattern on Instagram so come on over to enter to win your copy of Abby’s Watercolor Dress!

I don’t have a lot of patience for audiobooks (podcasts are my jam,) but I think maybe four of five of these were audio. I do like to listen to autobiographies narrated by the writer. 💕💕
