The Overlay Top and Dress PDF pattern is for a lightweight woven fabric garment with ease of wear and a touch of whimsy.
Both the top and dress lengths offer a classic shape with the option for a breezy overlay that extends across one side of the body to half the width of the other shoulder. This overlay, which is cut on the bias, has a lovely flouncy drape and adds something special to the look.
The top is designed to sit just above the hip with an easy swing shape, which perfect for warm summer days or for layering over a snug tee when the weather is cooler.
The dress views are above the knee in length with optional in-seam pockets.
Flutter sleeves are also an option for all views.
The back keyhole neckline ties together in a bow, adding an extra detail to the back silhouette.
